Practice Areas
George B. Faller, Jr., is a third generation Carlisle lawyer focusing his practice
primarily on civil litigation. His cases include slip and falls, defective
products, wrongful deaths and tractor trailer accidents. Mr. Faller has been
lead counsel of record in more than 50 jury trials throughout Central and
Eastern Pennsylvania. He has actively litigated cases in more than 30 of
Pennsylvania’s 67 counties and in Federal Court for the Middle and
Eastern Districts of Pennsylvania. He serves as a Mediator and neutral Arbitrator
in UM or UIM cases throughout Central Pennsylvania. His experience includes
the settlement of million dollar cases on behalf of both plaintiffs and defendants.
Mr. Faller has been a Board-certified civil trial lawyer since 1995.
Professional Activities
Mr. Faller is a member of the Pennsylvania Association of Justice and of the
Pennsylvania Defense Institute. Over the last five years, he has taught more
than 50 hours of continuing legal education classes in various fields of
civil litigation and personal injury law. In addition to serving on the Cumberland
County Bar Association’s Bench-Bar Committee, Mr. Faller was awarded
the County Bar Association’s Pro Bono Award in 1998. He is a former
Board member of the Carlisle Family YMCA and has been actively involved in
coaching youth sports for over 15 years.
Education
Mr. Faller is a 1984 graduate of Indiana University of Pennsylvania and earned
his J.D. from the Dickinson School of Law of the Pennsylvania State University
in 1987. He clerked for the Honorable Harold E. Sheely, President Judge of
the Cumberland County Court of Common Pleas.
