Practice Areas
Ivo V. Otto III focuses his practice on probate matters, including litigation,
estates and estate planning, real estate, land use, business and personal
tax and financial planning, health care law, non-profit organizations and
charitable gift planning. Mr. Otto also acts as the Managing Partner of the
firm.
Professional Activities
Mr. Otto is a member of the Cumberland County Bar Association (Member of the
Orphan's Court Rules Committee), Pennsylvania Bar Association (section on
Probate, Estates & Fiduciaries) and American Bar Association (sections
on Taxation, Real Property, Probate & Trusts). He is admitted to all
courts of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, the Federal District Court for
the Middle District of Pennsylvania and the United States Tax Court. He is
a member of the Board of Trustees of YWCA Carlisle and an instructor in
the Law of Business Transactions and Law of Business Organizations at Dickinson
College.
Education
Mr. Otto is a 1975 graduate of Washington and Jefferson College and received
his Juris Doctor from The Dickinson School of Law in 1978. He earned his
Master of Laws in Taxation from the Georgetown University Law Center in 1982.
