Practice Areas
Thomas J. Williams earned his law degree in 1973 and worked four years as a
Deputy District Attorney before joining the firm in 1977. A name shareholder
since 1985, Mr. Williams focuses his practice on civil litigation, and also
has significant experience in the area of family law.
Professional Activities
Mr. Williams is a member of the Civil Litigation and the Family Law Sections
of the Pennsylvania Bar Association. He is currently President of the Cumberland
County Bar Association and a Master of the Cumberland County Inns of Court.
He is Board Certified as a Civil Trial Specialist by the National Board of
Trial Advocacy. He is admitted to the Supreme Court of the United States,
the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania, the U.S. Tax Court and various U.S. District
Courts.
Community Activities
Mr. Williams is a past Chairman of the Cumberland
County United Way Campaign, past chairman of the Cumberland
County Chapter of the American National Red Cross, past President
of the Carlisle Rotary Club and past President of the Carlisle
Early Education Center.
Education
Since graduating from Temple University School of Law in 1973
Mr. Williams has attended numerous Continuous Legal Education
programs each year.
