George B. Faller, Jr. named President of the CCBA

George B. Faller, Jr. of Martson Law Offices in Carlisle was recently elected as President of the Cumberland County Bar Association at its 120th Annual Meeting.

George holds this position following his father George B. Faller and grandfather John D. Faller, a great Faller tradition of service to the profession!  He also follows a tradition of service of the shareholders of Martson Law Offices that have served as President of the Association: William F. Martson, John B. Fowler III, Daniel K. Deardorff, Thomas J. Williams, Ivo V. Otto III and Hubert X. Gilroy.

The Cumberland County Bar Association (CCBA) was formed by the adoption of its constitution and bylaws in 1901.  The Association was incorporated on December 29, 1994.  The Association’s purpose is to promote education, fellowship, and ethics among local lawyers and to foster public awareness of the legal system and the individual’s rights and responsibilities under our system.

Each of the attorneys who practice in the Carlisle office of Martson Law Offices are members of the CCBA.  The attorneys in both our Carlisle and Thompsontown offices are involved in a broad spectrum of charitable, civic, and cultural activities, many of them serving in leadership positions in our communities.
